The people who know just who they are and where they’d like to be,
Are living within the framework and full knowledge of practical reality.
For they have done their research and know that they are truly free,
They have discovered their own true self; and know it’s the only place to be.
So before you embark on a journey that is final, where there is no turning back,
Have you fully assessed and done your research to know if you’re on track?
It starts with a full knowledge of who you are and not where you’d like to be,
You need to be so very certain if you wish to retain both friends and family.
Some say that it starts in your mind and I think that’s absolutely true,
For if you don’t understand yourself how do you expect others will so do?
There are difficulties enough in life that you will have to fully understand,
Before you embark upon a journey that may not go as you had planned.
You are the only one who can decide what it is that’s right for you,
So contemplate very fully before making up your mind it’s overdue.
And if there’s the tiniest bit of doubt that it may not go as planned,
Delay the taking of that step until you’re sure you fully understand.
When you are totally clear and not a day, week or month before,
When you’ve completed the research and need to know no more.
Then and only then when you are really truly and completely sure,
