When your knight in shining armour
Has become your damsel in distress
Instead of wearing glistening steel
He'd rather wear a dress.!
But just because his clothes have changed
Don't think that he has died.
For if you look beyond the lace,
Your hero's still inside.
Although he sometimes needs your help
to convert from knight to dame,
He'll still defend your honor
And still protect your name.
I've heard that clothes can make the man,
but I don't believe that's true.
for behind the makeup and the frills
is a man who'd die for you.
I know it's hard to see a knight
when he's standing there en femme.
Asking you to fix his hair
or adjust his length of hem.
Remember you must look beyond
the beauty of his dress,
When your knight in shining armour
