Director's Notes (from the program)
Amanda Hinkle

The first time I read this play was about 4 years ago when I started my adventure as a theatre major.  The characters you are about to meet could be anyone you know, a friend, a relative, or even the person sitting next to you.  We all have stories to tell, and I hope you get something from this short little play that Madeleine George has filled with pain, hopefulness, joy, and imagination.  I'd like to applaud the actresses in this play; their courage, research, and dedication to their character development has been an amazing journey to observe.  I'd also like to personally thank the crew for all their long hours and hard work.  I am so humbled by the opportunity to direct a play which means so much to me as I end my college career.  Thank you for coming and enjoy the performance.

Other Things I have to say..

For those of you who did see the performance and would like more infornmation about the author, or you just have questions for me, feel free to email me. (mandahinkle@hotmail.com)  I know that this was a difficult play to experience at times, and there are choices I made for various reasons.  Please contact me if you have any concerns, I've done a lot of
research about this play and the topics involved.

Thank you all for coming those of you who could make it, its amazing to see the numbers of people who's lives we've effected through this experience.
