*****Ms. Philly, or Philly as we all call her, is a 15.1hh Thoroughbred mare that I am leasing from the owners of Bannockburn Farm. She has been the greatest horse for me! She has taught me soooooo much! When I got her, she had been out in a pasture for a number of years, pretty much early retirement. Well, I was lucky enough to be able to take her home and work with her some because I had outgrown Fantasia and was in need of a new horse. Philly's earlier years were Racing and Fox Hunting. So guess what she liked to do? Go! I've had her for almost 3 years now. And the first year that I had her, I really hated her. A few times I even asked my parents if I could take her back but they told me just to stick with it and try to enjoy the gift I had. So I did, and I am glad that I did. Because one day, we just "clicked". It was the greatest feeling! In the Spring of 2000, we started doing a few combined tests and horse trials. With her knowing how to jump, we just really had to concentrate on our dressage. So we had a great year and we were always in the ribbons. So this page is dedicated to the great horse that got me through a lot! *****Philly is now back at Bannockburn Farm.  Due to my lack of time and other horses and poines that need to be worked, I have made this tough decision.  I am very greatful for the 3 years with Philly.  She has taught me a lot! Thank you so much Fletcher & Allyn McCraken for allowing me to spend this time with her!
