| Fantasia is a 13.2hh POA (Pony of America) mare that I received in 1996. When she first came out of the trailer I thought of her as my dream pony! She was this beautiful white pony, a pony like every young girl wants. After my first ride, she became the pony of my nightmares. She knew every trick in the book on how to get a rider off your back, my mom called her a "throw away pony". She was practically given to us, all we had to pay was one months board, shots, and worming. I think the total only came out to like $156.68 or something like that. She ended up I think throwing both my parents and I off. I gave her a months rest and then decided to get brave and make her listen. After me hitting the ground many times and having a few lessons, she became my "dream pony". We attended a few shows and I used her for Pony Club for a year. Her favorite thing was to go swimming. She is now retired and is used as a broodmare for my family's Welsh farm. She is had a foal in 2000. It was her first foal with us! She blessed us with a beautiful filly that we call Fanfayre. She now likes to give my little cousins and brothers pony rides and has helped us teach a few ponies to ride(and even one to drive) by being the lead pony. I hope you enjoy reading about my first pony Tasia. She sure turned out to be a great pony and I am glad that I did not give up on her! | Here are the pictures of Fanfayre that I promised. Believe it or not, they are both Fanfayre! She was born with the rings around her eyes, shed out in the summer to a white, and now, with her winter coat, she is again, almost black, with the faint rings around her eyes also.
