The US flag is called the banner flag. It has 50 stars which represents
the 50 states and 13 red lines which represent the 13 former colonies at
a time when US was a british colony.
We can divide USA into 6 regions which are:
New England,
made up of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut,
and Rhode Island.
The Middle
Atlantic, comprising New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and
Maryland.
The South, which
runs from Virginia south to Florida and west as far as central Texas.
This region also includes West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas,
Louisiana, and parts of Missouri and Oklahoma.
The Midwest, a
broad collection of states sweeping westward from Ohio to Nebraska and
including Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, parts
of Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and eastern Colorado.
The Southwest,
made up of western Texas, portions of Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona,
Nevada, and the southern interior part of California.
The West,
comprising Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, California, Nevada, Idaho,
Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii.

USA has 50 states and
14 territories. The total area is 3,794,083 sq mi (9,826,675
sq km),
area of land is 3,537,438 sq mi (9,161,964 sq km)and area of water is
256,645 sq mi (664,711 sq km).His share of world land area (1990): 6.2%
I'm going to focus on Niagara falls , New York City,
California and finally compare US tourism to East African tourism.
I can't talk about all the places which may interest the tourist
because USA is a country which is huge. I'm going to emphasize on the 3
regions i've talked about and make a comparison with East Africa.
