The Man Behind The Mauler
HOME
This section is to let my fans know more about me in real life.  As I am able to, I will keep updating different parts of my life.  I hope you are able to enjoy this as much as I am by writing it.

Stuart Brown.
The next season I started to practicing with the University of British Columbia.  Due to the extremely cold and snowy weather in Prince George most practices take place in gyms until spring comes.  I was not a student of the university but I still played for the team.  This picture was taken in Jasper, Alberta at a sevens tournament.  We entered 3 teams to this tournament, the backs(fast skinny guys), the womens, and of course by looking at the picture the forwards(usally fat and slow just look at me for example).    I also had made a trip to Kelowna, BC with the team to play games on back to back days.  This of course not really being to hard but if anyone reading this knows anything about rugby then they know about the drinking that goes with it.  My time with the team was quite enjoyable, I would have liked it to have been longer.  I was only able to play for one season as work and the start of my wrestling career soon took priority.  I have not been active in this sport since 1997.  I do hope that one day I will be able to get active again in Rugby.
Rugby
Rugby was a big part in my life, I started to play at the age of 15.  As there was no junior programs in Prince Rupert I played for the mens team.  I was 6'1" and 190 pounds when I started playing.  Needless to say for playing rugby I was a little small so I played wing in my first year.  During the off season I got my first taste of a mouth full of crap.  I needed double knee surgry.  I got this done and of course the weight started to be put on due to lack of movement and pain.  Once I was cleared to be physical again I started to practice again.  This year due to my increase in size I moved up into the scrum.  I wore the number 3 which stands for the postion of tight head prop.  I have also flanked on both sides and have played the 8th man.  Being a prop of course is my favorite position in the game.
During my third season with the Prince Rupert Seaman  I decided to start a junior program in Prince Rupert.  I was the first captain of the junior team and seen in this picture I just scored the first Try ever for the Rupert junior program.  This game was taken place in Smithers, BC.  This was the first game I played that day.  As soon as this game was over I then played for the mens team.  We played most of the junior games as sevens rules as the program was young and it was very hard to get new members out.
After I graduated in 1995 my family and I moved to Prince George, BC.  I then started practicing with Prince George Senior Secondary.  I told the coach that I was attending school at Prince George Senior Secondary so I was aloud to practice with them, but of course like most people I started working and that ended the season early for me.  It was not till next season that I was able to resume practice.
