Interview with Nicky being voted best person in rock by Melody Maker magazine. How does it feel to be voted one of the coolest people in rock? Having just turned 30 it feels very nice, but then again ive always thought I was. Do you have any tips on how to be cool? Cool and style have absolutely nothing to do with fashion. Never be afraid to look like a fool. Are you always this cool? Whats been your least cool moment? Ive had many disasters. Well documented, but once I went to a school disco wearing my cricket whites.

A really funny thing I found about Nicky in Kerrang! When was the last time you were so pissed you ended up singing in the streets? The last time I got really wazzed was when we played the Cambredge ball and we got chucked out. I tried to give James a blow job on stage. I did! Theres a picture of me kneeling down trying to undo his trousers. I was completely blotto, as you can imagine. He was looking at me like, "One step closer and your dead".
