Desert Dream

The red crackling heat of the desert wind turned my face into a crimson moon, which boom only in the summer. My fingers has grown green with pain as the wind splashed against my body. My eyes are fading into a black expression which are screeching with fear, but no one notices for I am alone, until the yellow murmuring of the sun brings me back from the dream that had me in a gray gurgling of a melancholy feeling, which was buried within my being.

The Television
I remember when they first brought me home, everyone marveled at the sight of me even the dog was fascinated with me. I saw the children grow from a few weeks until they were young adults, now I am just a relic of a long forgotten past in which the children played games, watched programs, and even used me to measure their height. I remember a lot of things most of those memories are in the past, fore the children have families of their own and their parents live among them now and I am alone in this cold strange place called a junkyard.

Lost In a Cyber World

Traveling on an infinite cyber plane Surfing the nonsensical waves that is useless information Gagging on the tidbits of facts Hidden along the way I find myself lost in a cyber world Yet, I am constantly yearning For an old fashioned reference That will lead me to a dust filled room of bound text Giving the false detours that leads to dead end after dead end I try to find that pre-computer mode of thinking When a pad and pen were the only way of passing Information. I sit back in amazement as it all passes me by Then I realize- I am still lost in a cyber world

The Bike

My bike is like a sleek speed boat crossing the ocean waters as I drive this machine with the greatest of ease as I switch the gears from fast to faster. I skip and jump over the rocky waves on a hot summer day in May. The wind rushing through my hair as I laugh at my friends who’s bike isn’t as fair as the sleek speed machine which belongs to me, an right before my eyes it is graceful as a prima ballerina during her last performance of her life, doing turns an wheelies on the asphalt satge as I set and think what a thing of beauty my bike is...

Texas

I know that Texas is just a state. people who live here, think it is the greatest place on Earth. The wide open spaces with blue skies that go on for miles. Oceans of rolling green fields with isles of violet blue blossoms. the sunsets seem as if the ground and sky are intertwined to create the vibrancy that brings the day to an end. At night, the heavens twinkle with stars. They dance across the dark stage like lover joined. The illuminating orb lights their way. In Texas, the moon seems brighter that the sun. The moon, a caller to loss lovers in the night. It is a beacon or reminder on how to find your way home. The beauty and majesty that is Texas, makes the heart swell and sing. ‘Cause there is no place like Texas.

TENNECO SYNDROME

In the sterile dankness of the break room. I feel the slow tedious day go on. As if I was walking without blinking. Caught in a daze of confusion. Lost within the corridor of this place called Tenneco. Workers are just drones cranking out the same prodct day in an out. Their faces have loss all expression. Replace with a cold zombie like stair. i myself am trying to avoid the TENNECO SYNDROME. The longer I stay I feel myself being hypnotized by the same draining job. I yearn fro the day that the schol bell rings. When they sound I will be filled with joy. No moreTENNECO. The rigors of Tenneco have yet to claim this worker. But then I refuse to allow myself to become a drone. Thrown into the mix that is just the RIGID PACKING PLANT.
