Janet Borgman

Not only is George A. Borgman the father of The Man in the Movie's director Eric B. Borgman, but he is also a noted jazz critic and New England correspondant for the tradition jazz journal The Mississippi Rag. In the 1950's Borgman worked in television but his acting career got off to a start when he was an extra on stage in an opera where he ended up stepping on the diva's foot! His son Eric, had used him in a few of his earlier films, but his double role as the angry theater patron and the silent movie comedian are the biggest roles he's had to date. He is one of the core cast members in the film and plays a pivitol role on the storyline.
