Together with our families our mission at Manitou Equine Rescue and PMU Foal Placement is to rescue gods most majestic creature... the horse.
Our goal is to save those who have been forgotten, abandoned and neglected from the horrors of abuse and slaughter.
We strive to provide a loving caring home where our new friends are nurtured, comforted and cared for rehabilitated and retrained.
The ultimate outcome, if possible, is for each horse to have another chance at life with a happy ending with people who can provide for them the love and comfort that they deserve and were often deprived of and
when it is time for them to leave this earth we will assist the magnificent creatures to leave with dignity and without fear and pain.
We are looking for adoptors who have a deep love and apprecitation for horses. Those who can look past the scars, past the age and past the unknown history and into the heart of a horse. It is their heart you will see when you look into their eyes.
We are looking for people with a desire to make them a part of their family, to give them a place to lay and rest, a place where food and water are plentiful. A place to be safe, clean, feel alive and loved.
