Triberg, Germany
We made a mad dash to the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) the last weekend in April. Located in this picturesque village is Germany's tallest Waterfall and where over 1/3 of the world's clocks (outer exteriors and inner working parts) are made. Maybe you've heard of the Coo Coo Clock? We had a fabulous weekend hiking the waterfall and going from shop to shop not only finding our dream coo coo clock (with a working waterwheel) but many other trinkets to remind us of our time here in Germany.
This was the view we woke up to each morning. At night we could hear the water rolling over the rocks. It was so peaceful. The light brown gate is the entrance to the waterfall hike.
Everyone needs a lunch break even this pinwheel toting tot. Henry enjoyed his fine cuisine (french fries) at a Henry size picnic table on the shore of the waterfall river.
Bobby and Henry take a few minutes to enjoy the view.
And what a view it was!! This is only a small section of the waterfall.
With all the walking and shopping we were all popped!!
