Mount Arayat, Pampanga
Other than bodies of water, mountains are my other favorite scenes. In Baguio, I had the chance to catch some breath-taking scenes.
This one is lying the in the Central Plain of Luzon, North of Manila. I think, the only mountain standing on the plain. What interest me in this shot is it reminds of children's art - mountain, trees, open field, clouds in the sky. I took it while riding in the van with the window open.
Mount Makiling, Laguna
The only mountain lying South of Manila, in the Southern Tagalog region, in the province of Laguna. This shot was taken as we were exiting the new Star Toll highway into Calamba. Laguna from Lipa City in Batangas.
I took another shot of the same tollway again because I wanted to have clouds up in the sky. One time I passed the place I got the pic that I wanted.
Subic Tunnel
A major time-saver going to Subic is this route that passed through this mountain. The long route is to pass through the zigzag road through the City of Olongapo. But this route skipped the city proper into Subic.
