Who is Mr. Manroe the teacher ? I began my teaching career as a teacher's assistant at Santana High School. I had the pleasure of working for Mr. David Cunningham and it is he who started my teaching career. I then went to work for the Juvenile Court Schools while completing my degree at SDSU. After obtaining my teaching credential in 1996, I student taught at CPH under Mr. Michael Smull and was introduced to the long and proud history of CPH. I earned my master's of science degree from Walden University. If you want to know what my class is like day-to-day, ask any of my students and they will tell you. My Biology class is difficult but it is always fair. Please remember that my door is open to anyone at anytime. It is my great pleasure to continue the tradition of excellence found at CPH and learn what it means to work in the Land of Troy! |
Who is Mr. Manroe the staff member? I fulfill the role of the Science Department Chairperson at CPH. My collegues and I work very hard to coordinate our activities to properly support the California Science Content Standards. It is my pleasure to teach within the International Baccalaureate Program. This rigorous program provides students with access to college level content while still attending high school. In addition to my duties at CPH, I am a staff developer for AVID during their Write Path trainings and Summer Institutes. |

Who is Mr. Manroe's family ? Once you spend some time in my classroom you will be introduced to Mrs. Manroe and my daughter. These two ladies are the cornerstones of my life. Our daughter is a gift to us both and a constant reminder to not take ourselves too seriously. I hope that you are able to have such wonderful and giving people in your life, and I am truly fortunate to have them as part of mine. |
