.......It has been a year since the end of the very costly war with the NCEF. The UNSF falls under the command of one Admiral Thomas Ross after being selected by the out-going Admiral Story to succeed him in the chain of command. But all is not well. A deadly series of terrorist bombings happen across Earth, but the Marauder-led GART Terrorist organization is no longer around as a threat or is it? The UNSF's greatest admiral, Blackbird, returns to service to seek out & destroy the terrorist responsible for the attacks only to discover the terrorist mastermind is closer then he thinks, and commands the UNSF's newest and most powerful ship, the USS Stealthlon-C. The crew of the Explorer joins Blackbird & the Stealthlon-B on Blackbird's final mission. |

| Excerpt from "Light Over Darkness" Setup- Blackbird steals the Stealthlon-B and then appears to confront the Stealthlon-C at the Fleet Gathering Point and begins to attack the Stealthlon-C infront of all other UNSF & allied ships there. Brungess stood next to Mansel on the bridge of the Explorer and looked in disbelief at the viewscreen. The Stealthlon-B was coming in an attack vector on the new Stealthlon-C. "What the hells' he doin?!" Brungess saying with an absolutely stunned look on his face. "Open a coms to Blackbird now." Mansel ordered regaining his sense of orderliness. "I can't sir... The Stealthlon-C is jamming his transmissions." Lt. Cmdr. Hardy reported coming to an equally calm sense, seeing her commanding officer regaining his sense of command. |
