this hard to find e.p. is worth getting for the slightly rockier version of esf and of course hearing the infamous line about chad's anorak. thief is sort of like an early version of she makes my nose bleed. lsd is way better in the acoustic version than the one found here but the guitar on its still good.

if you do not have this cd then your life has no meaning! drastic sturgeon and take it easy are both classic mansun tracks. the greatest pain is lovely too. " i cannot eat, i cannot sleep, there's something deep inside of me".

this is one of mansun's best overall eps. both of the 2 cds are excellent. no-one knows us features the mysterious scruffy and has one of the best choruses ever. the edge features some frankly bizarre lyrics ("only for tinsel"?!). things is one of those songs you need to play again and again and has paul muttering about stock brokers at the start before the music. for reasons only known to himself.

this is also a really good ep. rebel is one of mansun's best b-sides. the acoustic tracks are gorgeous. skin up pin up is great too. plus one cd has lots of exciting foldy out parts with all the lyrics on. wide open space is also a classic mansun song, and everyone in the entire world loves it (you know you do really). its also really hard to get, and especially annoying when you can remember seeing a whole shop full of them for Ł1.99 at the time but didn't buy them.

words cannot describe how good holy blood is. most to gain is simple but effective. flourella's pretty good too, especially the "we're only the band for you" bit. this live version of wos is good too, the acoustic version is sort of middle-ish.

(taxloss, grey lantern, pointless taxloss remix, impending collapse of it all, ski jump nose live, smmnb acoustic)

grey lantern makes you addicted to guitar distortion and is totally fantastic. impending is the best b-side here. smmnb acoustic is mansun's best acoustic track by far . the remix is rubbish apart from a groovy little bass bit in the middle.

mansun's bestest ever ep! yet again, words cannot describe how good the best track, everyone must win is. closed for business is great, and worlds still open is a lovely end to a lovely cd. the taxloss video is pretty funny too.
