Physical Description:Dark brown curly hair (unless straightened), large dark brown eyes. Full lips, has a sort of exotic look. Built muscular yet thin and still has the curvy features of a woman.

Personality: Max has two different personalities- one that she shows her close friends and one that she shows everyone else.

To someone who she doesn't know well or like, she is rude, fairly sarcastic, and closed-off. She has a "me against the world" type of attitude with these people, and doesn't have high regard for fairness. She feels like every day is a fight.

However, to the few close friends that Max has, she is extremely loyal. She is very helpful when it comes to people she feels are innocent- she'll stop at nothing to help them, even take a bullet. To her close friends, Max is kind and funny and knows how to have a good time. However, she doesn't "relax" often since she is constantly trying to keep the fact that she is Manticore hidden from those that don't know and would use it against her.


History:
Max broke out of Manticore's facilities in '09, along with some of her brothers and sisters, thanks mostly to her brother Zack. Immediately following the escape, she was taken in by a female worker of Manticore. This shelter was very limited, and since then, she has mostly been on her own.

She had no idea if her other siblings made it safely in their escape, until she was around 18 years old living in Seattle. At this time, with the help of an informant as well as a new male friend (Logan) she was able to discover that many of her siblings had in fact made it out, and she met Zack for the first time as an adult.

After this time, she continued to grow closer to her new friend, Logan Cale, and ended up falling for him. They experienced an awkward relationship, as neither wanted to admit their feelings, meanwhile chasing down mob bosses and other "bad guys" and especially attempting to find out more about Manticore and where her other siblings were located. Max met face to face with Donald Lydecker, the man who "raised" her until her escape. He had trained her to be a soldier. Together, along with Logan and others, she attempted to permanently stop Manticore. The proposed escape ended with Max being shot in the heart.

Max was presumed dead by those in Seattle, but her brother Zack sacrificed himself to save her. He shot himself in the head, his last words indicating that he meant for Max to have his heart so that she wouldn't die.

Max was successfully saved, thanks to Zack's heroics. Unfortunately, she found herself stuck in Manticore. She met Alec at this point, her cellmate and breeding partner. Manticore had devised a new program in hopes to copulate and thus continue the program, since she had destroyed the data and research in the earlier raid where she almost died.

She also met Joshua at this time, who would later be a good friend. Alec helped Max to escape Manticore, this being the second time she'd freed herself from their facilities.

However, it was a trap. Max was allowed to escape so that she could infect Logan with a virus meant to kill him once she made contact with him.

This further disrupted their relationship (obviously!). After this, Max had an odd sort of relationship with Alec. She couldn't stand him, but he worked hard to regain her trust and confidence. He helped her on many occassions, and she finally got to a point where they were friends, in spite of how they had first met.

Max and Alec together, along with the help of Logan, tried whenever possible to save their transgenic "family" that she had helped escape, thus bringing them into the real world, which was a scary place for someone so different.


How Much People Know:
Her closest friends know she is Manticore. Only her Manticore friends know her darkest secrets and what she is truly capable of. To coworkers, other than her very best friend, she appears as someone who doesn't care much about her low paying job and has a problem with authority. No one other than her closest friends knows she is not just like everyone else.
