Physical Description: Tobi has long curly light brown hair and brown eyes. She is small in stature. She is barely 5’5” and she is very skinny. She is often underestimated because of her size but when she gets angry she can really pack a punch. Tobi still dresses the part of a soldier. She wears neutral colors to blend into the crowd and can usually be found in jeans and a t-shirt. She has a natural beauty about her so she rarely bothers with makeup or fancy clothes.

Personality: Tobi is still very much stuck in the SIC mind frame. She is even tempered on most issues and falls quickly into the role of mediator. However when Tobi is provoked, she can be very edgy and unrational. She gets attached quickly and doesn’t like to leave anyone behind no matter what her personal feelings on the matter. When something is seriously bothering her, she tends to withdraw herself from people and deal with it alone.


History: Tobi grew up in 599’s unit in Wyoming. She was always obedient, observant, and often overlooked because of her ability to blend into the crowd. She was never truly exceptional at anything except for escape and evade.

During the escape, Tobi was injured and dragged back to base wishing she was dead. She endured the standard time for reprogramming in Psy-Ops and though she was conditioned to believe that her family betrayed her, Tobi could not let her protective nature for her left behind siblings die. Because of her abilities and record for following orders, she was selected for leadership training to become the new SIC in the remaining X5 unit. She balanced the CO’s demanding and often cold personality perfectly with her compassionate nature and the two led the remaining X5s from block 12 through the end of basic training and onto specialized training. Tobi specialized in rescue missions, infiltration, sabotage, tracking, and explosives.

On Tobi’s first mission, she picked up on the trail of an X5 escapee. She was forced to abandon her objective and pursue the rogue X5. Tobi ended up cornering the X5 but letting them go before the tact team arrived, much to the dismay of Lydecker. Tobi swore innocence but Lydecker demanded answers. He sent her to Psy Ops to torture the answer out of her. Despite Lydecker’s suspicion, the psy operatives couldn’t get her to admit it. She was deeply disturbed by being sent there again.

Since then Tobi worked mostly on group missions. There was a core group from her old unit that worked together on the most dangerous of missions. Tobi became very attached to these soldiers, especially the CO she had worked under years ago. Her most recent mission was with that group. They were sent to infiltrate a prisoner camp. However things quickly went sideways and the true identity of the group was compromised. The mission suffered severe casualties. She was the only one who returned to base after Manticore finally sent a rescue operation.

Tobi was brought back to Manticore after the failed mission and once she recuperated, she was sent to Psy Ops to find out what information she may have let slip to her captors. Having previous experience with the psy-operatives, she tried to resist them. They easily broke her down again. It was in the middle of this process that the facility was set on fire. Tobi only escaped thanks to the help of another X series.
