Shifu Kang Zhi Qiang was born on February, 26 1949.
He was the head disciple (da tu di) of shifu Li Zhan Yuan and followed him closely for over thirty five years.
Shifu Kang Zhi Qiang was a member of the Qingdao City and Shandong Provincial Wushu teams, winning Gold medal in the China National Championships for his magnificent stick play, mantis Boxing was his life and fighting his forte.
Shifu Kang Zhi Qiang was a respected and feared fighter in Shandong Province and fought for the honour of his family many times. Though seemingly a fierce man, Kang was in fact kind, humble and generous.
Shifu Kang Zhi Qiang passed away in November 11, 2002 and is survived by his wife and son.
