Shifu Paulo Junqueira da Costa started training when he was 9 years old in Campestre, Minas Gerais (Brazil).
He moved to São Paulo in 1982 and he kept training until getting his black sash in 1989.
Shifu Paulo was a competitor for long time, winning several first places in suchs as São Paulo, Brazilian and South American (1998 in Rio de Janeiro) tournaments.
In 1999 he was accepted as disciple by shifu Li Da Chong and used to direct the "Brendan Lai's Kung Fu Institute Brazil" together with shifu Samuel Mendonça.
In 2003 shifu Paulo Junqueira, who works as a Systems Analyst for a living, stopped teaching and training and closed his branch.
