who was my colleague at IITD and later on at Aricent.

I am a PhD student at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, Portugal.

I am a Goenkar, a native of the beautiful land of Goem (or Goa as it is more popularly known), home to an unique but threatened culture.

I completed my Master of Technology in Communication Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering ,

at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India in the June of 2005. I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in

Electronics and Telecommunication from Padre Conceição College of Engineering, Verna, Goa, India.

My academic interests are communication theory, signal and image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision.

My advisor is Prof. Mário Figueiredo.
