STEP TWO

Ask the child to recognize an object by its French name.

Start with the second object you introduced.

          Say: Show me

Repeat the question for the name of the first object you introduced.

          Say: Show me

-at this point you may wish to reinforce by asking the child: Give me (name in French)

STEP THREE

Identification

Show the child the last object in STEP two(the first name you introduced)

                and ask: What is this

Repeat for the second name you introduced in the STEP one:

                              What is this

If the child cannot say the name or has difficulty pronouncing it you may

pronounce  it for him loud and clear.

If he seems willing to repeat the exercise, repeat all three steps.
