Kevin Matthew Hastings was tragically killed on Nov.22, 1997, while working in an ADM Plant in Decatur Illinois. The plant claimed his life brutally. He is deeply missed by his family and friends. He is missed by the many friends who still today express the great person that he was! Prayer: " Lord Jesus Christ, in Your great Love, You offered Your Own Life for us on the Cross. You asked only that we love God with our whole heart and soul and mind, and love our neighbor as ourself. Then at the foot of the Cross You gave us Your mother Mary to be our Mother as well. Be mindful, O Lord in Your great Mercy of those we love who have gone before us in faith.... Mother Mary, you are our great gift from Your Son. As you were the first to follow Jesus in faith, strengthen our own faith this day. As you were first to join Him in Heaven, increase our own hope in the glory of the resurrection and in life everlasting. Amen. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord And let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
