Asheville, NC A big hometown turnout--friends, local writers and teachers, Malaprops and the head cartographer of the US Forest Service--got the book tour off to a rousing start. Charlotte, NC Twelve people gathered to discuss maps, reading, and writing for nearly two hours. Park Road Books Greenville, SC Writing students of Scott Gould and George Singleton were an TGSFTA enthusiastic audience for Maps and, on the mighty greenhouse bridge, for "My Wife Dreams of the Surging Waters." Atlanta, GA Barnes and Noble Chicago, IL Barbara's UIC store is located in an up-and-coming part of town. Warren Wilson writers made the reading Game 1 of a festive double-header that carried on with poet Lucy Anderton at the Guild Complex. Iowa City, IO Prairie Lights! One of the greatest independent bookstores in the nation.
