Okay guys, this is the first part of the Round Robin, and it's very
short, but hey, it's a Round Robin. I havne't figured out how often
it will be posted, but that will wait. Thanks to everyone who has
written or hasn't written yet (i know it hasn't gotten all the way
around yet). Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Star Wars, and everyone in it, does not belong to me.
Luke, Mara and the rest of the gang belong to some guy name George
Lucas. This is not making money.

Setting: Tatooine, two weeks before the big day.

Rating: overall, of course it's NC-17. I don't think I've ever read
an entire story on this list that hasn't eventually gone up to NC-
17. I like it that way. This piece is PG, for innuendoes.

Piece 1 Round Robin!!!

Mara squinted and rolled over in bed, away from the window and
the second rising sun that was filling her bedroom with light. Her
husband, Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master and Hero of the Rebel Alliance,
mumbled something unintelligible as she bumped into him. Still half
asleep, Luke gathered his wife into his arms and went back to sleep.
As Mara snuggled up to her softly snoring husband, she reflected on
their relationship. She still couldn't believe that they were
actually married. Even after nearly a year of marriage, it still
seemed so new. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her and her eyes
snapped open. Nearly a year? Her one-year anniversary was in two
weeks! No longer, sleepy, she disentangled herself from Luke and went
into the refresher, absorbed with her abrupt revelation. Her one-year
anniversary--'what on earth was she going to do for Luke?'

For the past month they had been living on Tatooine with the
Academy's top three students, preparing them for their final steps
toward becoming Jedi knights. Luke had indeed changed the Academy's
structure to a more one-on-one set up, and she enjoyed the smaller
set-up they had built on Tatooine. The secluded dunes and cliffs of
Luke's childhood were perfect for the meditations and exercises the
students were involved in as they contemplated the decision of
joining the ranks of Jedi. She, Luke, and the students would probably
be here for another month or so before they went to Coruscant for the
final ceremony in front of the Senate declaring knighthood. Although
Luke had disliked spending his childhood on Tatooine, he and Mara
were both enjoying the solitude away from the press that seemed to
follow their every movement, and the politicians who were constantly
trying to gain their support. Mara, especially, preferred the hot
arid climate to the overwhelming and oppressing humidity of Yavin.

Mara stepped under the hot water streaming out of the shower and
began running a variety of ideas for their anniversary through her
head. Clothes? He needed some, what with his horrid black wardrobe,
but too impersonal. Maybe for their 50-year anniversary. Something
for his X-wing or their ship? No, Karrde always gave her the latest
equipment he came across; both ships were very well outfitted. A
smile curved across her face as she thought of a few things for
herself she could buy that Luke would appreciate, but quickly
repressed that idea, after all, someone would surely ask Luke what he
had received from her at the party. A party! That was it, for their
anniversary, she would organize a party for herself and Luke. She
frowned. No, it was in bad taste to throw a party for oneself. Then
another insight flashed across her mind--'Leia could plan the party!
Mara herself was terrible at organizing social functions, although
she had planned many over the years. Yes, that was a good idea, she
could call Leia with a guest list, and Leia would organize it.
Although she and her sister-in-law often had differing opinions, she
could admit that Leia had been born to prepare social events. Her
wedding had gone incredibly smoothly, considering the massive number
of people involved. Yes, a surprise party for Luke with their family
and friends would be the perfect anniversary present for Luke. Having
finished her shower, she dried off and pulled on an abbreviated
jumpsuit, modified for extreme weather, and wandered into the kitchen
to the food-prep unit to get some breakfast, still towel drying her
long hair.

Luke groaned as light streamed across his face from the two
suns in his window. Who had decided to put the bed right where the
light came in? He stretched gingerly. Mara's daily workout must be
much more full-body than his own, after nights like the one before,
he was nearly always sore, while she was fine, excluding the few
marks he must have given her. He felt around the bed for his wife,
knowing very well she had already risen and gone to the refresher. He
reached out with his mind and brushed her unique presence. As he did
so, he caught the tail end of her thoughts-- 'the perfect anniversary
present for Luke.' Luke smiled as he sat up in order to force himself
awake. Mara must have finally remembered their anniversary, she had
not mentioned it at all. Of course, neither had he, but he had
decided upon his gift more than a month ago, before they had come
here. He was sure she would love it. Standing up and heading for the
shower his wife had just vacated, he thought he would keep on
pretending he had forgotten. He wouldn't say anything until he gave
her the gift he had prepared for her. Turning on the water, he smiled
in anticipation.

Part 2

Pulling on a pair of pants, Luke let the towel hanging over his head
fall to his shoulders and using the corner he chased the last rebel
droplets of water from behind his ears as he made his way towards the
kitchen. The old renovated Skywalker homestead was surprisingly
silent this morning. The students left yesterday afternoon on a
supply run to Mos Eisley. A transport was coming from Coruscant with
supplies, which included part of Mara's gift. However, Kavalle the
eldest of the group, called last night to inform them the transport
was late. They had also met up with Taren Darklighter, who was
desperately short on hands at their farm. Kavalle offered to wait for
and deliver the two new droids Taren had coming. Luke detected a
small amount of excitement from his young pupils, the exhilaration of
freedom. Still their genuine eagerness to help the Darklighters
pleased him immensely. Luke made the arrangements for them to spend
the night in Mos Eisley and tonight on the Darklighter's homestead.
It would give the three an opportunity to independently apply their
training to everyday life and it left him two days alone with his
wife. His remarkable and beautiful wife-- who was nowhere to be
found.

Luke stood barefoot in the middle of the kitchen surveying the empty
room. *Hopefully she didn't go for a run. If she gets in any better
shape she may well kill me yet*; he smiled to himself and focused a
bit more healing energy towards his stiff thigh. He poured himself a
cup of caf and headed towards the communications room, he still
needed to make a few arrangements to finish off Mara's gift.
Cautiously Luke reached out for the presence that for the past year
had become a constant in his life, hoping that she was far enough
away to give him the time he needed to make a call.

************

"Thanks Leia. Jade out."

It was just as her hand hit the com switch to end the transmission
that Mara sensed her husband reaching for the door and the edge of
her mind. With cat like reflexes that would impress even her former
Emperor's Hand self she vaulted herself across the room, releasing
her mental barriers as she went. She landed in front of one of the
room's canvas chairs and pushed herself up into a handstand.

Their minds collided as Luke came through the door. "Mara!" He
exclaimed, startled.

Beads of sweat formed on her neck as she attempted to maintain her
pose and in fact her cover. "So Farmboy, you finally decided to get
up." She casually remarked righting herself onto her feet; attempting
to portray the image of a Jedi who spent the morning meditating and
not entirely succeeding. Suspicion didn't exist in the room, both of
them were too busy hiding their own guilt; they missed all signs of
the same emotion in their partner.

He inhaled sharply, regaining his focus. "The bed was cold." Exhaling
he tried to fall into their usual playful banter. "I didn't get much
sleep," Luke's thoughts drifted back to his sore muscles and
accordingly back to the woman in front of him. "Some depraved redhead
kept me up all night" he finished, pulling her into his arms with a
wry smile.

All thoughts of covert anniversary projects flew from their minds as
they melded together in a kiss. Luke's lips found their way to her
neck and all rationale was gone. "I missed you in the shower this
morning" he murmured. His warm breath made her body tingle.

Her hands slipped along his sides and back, quickly becoming more
demanding, and he pulled her down with him into the canvas chair. "I
might need another shower," she purred. Straddling him, she brushed
her hips against his and was rewarded with a moan.

Locking together in another passionate kiss, Luke's hands pushed up
along her stomach to cup her breasts, drawing a soft sigh from Mara.
Slowly he began unzipping her jump suit, his lips following the path
to their goal.

"Umm, hold on Skywalker, we have to be out in the West range by
midday." Mara took a breath and allowed a sly smile to settle onto
her face. Leaning in she kissed her astonished spouse who eagerly
took the kiss in an attempt to continue this morning workout.

"Patience," she teased grazing her hips over his as she stood "you
must learn patience."

"But what about that shower." He whined, taking her hand and pulling
her down for another embrace.

"Obviously Farmboy," she whispered seductively "you have forgotten
the last time we were in the West range."

A bashful smile formed on his lips as memories of the two of them
making love, sheltered from the sun by the red rock that surrounded
the West range, flooded his mind.

"You'll be needing that shower tonight." She promised heading for the
door, leaving him dumbfounded in the chair. "Are you coming?"

Snapping out of his blissful memory he suddenly remembered why he
came in here to begin with. "Go get the speeder. I'll check on our
three young apprentices and that transport, then finish getting
dressed."

She smiled and gave him a small nudge with the Force before
disappearing into the hall.

Luke scrambled over to the com station to make his call. A moment
later a familiar face appeared on the screen. "Hi." Luke greeted the
other with a smile and quickly threw a glance over his shoulder. "I
have a favor to ask."

* * * *

Outside in the hall, Mara leaned against the wall collecting her
thoughts. *That was close.* Keeping her gift a surprise was going to
be a bit more difficult that she first thought.

Hey everyone, here is Piece 3!!! Diclaimer on chapter 1

Part 3:

Mara absently wandered into the living room, sipping her juice. Her
thoughts were on the party, who to invite, where to hold the event,
other questions that Leia had asked her. She was startled to find
Luke on a call with someone. Her walk slowed as she reached out
toward his presence. At that moment Luke ended the call and turned
toward her.

"Hi honey, are you all packed and ready to leave?" Luke checked his
barriers to see if Mara was able to pick up on anything from his
conversation. "As soon as the students return, we need to leave."

Mara looked at him. Does he know what she's planning for him? Not
looking him straight in the eye, she responded "Mostly. I have just a
few things I need to pack." She looked around, realizing that she
still needed to call Leia again. The party was only a few weeks away
and she had only come up with the idea that morning.

Luke smiled. "Well, if you come back into the bedroom with me, we can
finish packing together." He took her face in his hands and kissed
her. Mara wrapped one arm around Luke's shoulders and reached behind
her for a table as their kiss deepened. Luke broke the kiss and
grinned at her again.

"Luke, we have more important things to be doing." Mara gasped as he
began kissing his way down her neck. "As much as I love doing this,
we should be ready when they come back with the supplies."

"Ok, you're right." Luke whimpered as he pulled away. "Don't you
worry. We will have as much fun this trip as we did the last time we
went to the West range." Mara kissed his cheek. "Now, you finish your
packing while I make a call." Luke sauntered back to the bedroom,
looking over his shoulder at Mara, who was cracking up laughing.

"Now, to call Leia." Mara muttered under her breath, carefully
setting her boundries in case Luke became curious. She punched the
numbers on the com and was pleased to see that Leia answered.

"Hello Mara." Leia looked curious to see her sister-in-law's face
twice in one day. "What can I do for you?"

"Hi Leia. I don't have much time, but we're leaving tomorrow so I had
to call you now. This is what I've decided right now. It may change
later and feel free to add to this list." Mara began to rattle off
guests and foods to have at the party.

"Woah Mara, slow down. We still have time. How long are you guys
planning on being gone?" Leia asked, turning around to see Threepio
as he entered the room.

"Mistress Mara, how wonderful to see your face. How is Tatooine?"
Threepio walked up behind Leia and peered over her shoulder.

"It's fine Threepio. Lots of sand, you'd like it." Mara grinned at
Leia. "In fact, I think you should come visit us."

"No thank you. I will pass on your invitation, but pass on my regards
to Master Luke." Threepio turned his back and walked away from the
com, while Leia stood there holding back her laughter.

"Darn, and I was hoping to get to spend some quality time with him."
Mara pretended to look disappointed. "Maybe some other time...

" Leia burst out laughing. "You and Han have it in for Threepio, I
swear. However, its hilarious when you do it."

Mara laughed. "Yes its fun. Now back to the party..."

Luke pulled a box out from underneath their bed and opened. Yes, this
is the perfect gift for Mara. The rest of the gift he would give her
when they returned to Coruscant, but this he wanted to give to her
himself. I just hope she likes it, he thought to himself. As the door
slid open, he jumped and closed the box. "Mara!" he exclaimed.

"Yes Jedi?" Mara smiled coyly at him. "What was that?"

"Umm, it was nothing. Just some old pictures." Luke quickly placed
the box back under the bed.

"Don't worry. I won't go snooping thru your stuff." Mara placed her
hands on his neck and sat on his lap.

"Well, now that we're alone in the bedroom again, shall we finish
what we started?" Luke grinned at Mara, then pulled her close for a
kiss.

Okay gang, here's piece 4!! Disclaimer on Chapter one,
the rating...well, this is Ki's piece...

Once they separated, Luke stepped back and looked
intently at his beautiful wife. He was torn between
the things they needed to do out on the West Ridge and
the promise held in the sparkling green eyes looking
back at him. Sharing this small homestead with their
three Force sensitive students had not allowed them
much privacy and last night had been their first
evening alone since leaving Yavin. Thinking about
their departure this evening, he realized that the
trip back to Coruscant aboard the 'Jade Sabre' would
allow them even less and that made his decision for
him. Even if they had to delay their departure a few
hours to complete the tasks, he would not waste the
last couple hours of privacy he and Mara would have
until reaching Coruscant.

Mara watched Luke's expressive blue eyes flash as he
worked through his unique decision making process.
Seeing the heat that had finally settled there, she
could almost guess where his mind had been.
"Skywalker, are you in there?" she asked as she waved
her hand in front of his eyes. She backed a couple of
steps toward the door and added. "Let's get moving. We
have places to go and things to get done, Farmboy."
She was not surprised when he blocked her path in a
flash of motion.

"I definitely think there are things we need to do,"
Luke replied in a low growl. He ran a fingertip down
the center of her body along the closure to her
jumpsuit. "But none of them involve us leaving this
room for the time being." With a flourish, he gathered
her into his arms and dumped her unceremoniously onto
the bed. He covered the length of her body with his
own and silenced any discussion by meshing their lips.

Luke released her lips to allow them to inhale a
breath then traced a path across Mara's neck with his
lips. His hands moved to the fastening of her jumpsuit
and with a skill born of familiarity, he managed to
remove her clothing without taking his lips from her
skin. When she was naked beneath him, he continued his
explorations, laving and suckling first one rosy
nipple and then the other until Mara was whimpering
and squirming.

Mara grasped the bottom of Luke's sleeveless tunic and
pulled impatiently. "You are definitely overdressed if
you wish to continue our current activities," she said
breathlessly. When he looked up to meet her gaze, she
pulled him back to reach his lips. After exploring and
tasting his mouth until he pulled back panting, she
pushed him away. "Get naked, now," she ordered with a
smirk.

Knowing better than to ignore that tone, Luke dropped
a quick kiss between Mara's breasts and rose from the
bed. A few motions later, he was obediently naked and
back lying beside her. His throbbing arousal pressed
urgently against her thigh but he fought to ignore it
and continue his slow worship of Mara's gorgeous body.
When his tongue circled the indentation of her navel,
a sharp pull on his hair told him Mara had other
ideas. Glancing seductively at her, he whispered.
"Something you want, love?"

Mara sat forward until she could reach between Luke's
thighs and wrapped her hand around his length. She ran
her thumb over the moisture pooled at the tip and was
rewarded by a groan. "The same thing you do," she
purred as she pulled gently to position his hardness
at the entrance to her body.

Positioning his arms on either side of her face to
support his weigh, Luke wasted no time in complying
with his wife's wishes. He pushed forward and sheathed
himself within her with a single motion. Creating a
slow rhythm, he thrust within her wetness using his
knowledge to incite a multitude of sensations in his
wife's body. But when he began pushing up to meet his
thrusts he was lost, falling into the sensations
flowing through him.

Their surroundings faded away as they climbed the
spiral of passion. The intensity grew until Mara's
body tensed as the tremors of her climax washed over
her. She felt Luke's release pulse into her a second
before his spent body collapsed onto hers. They laid
together in total contentment as they waited for their
breathing and heart rates to slow to a more normal
pace.

Okay, this is Lindsay's piece, and it warrants a bit of explanation.
This piece jumps from Tatooine, where Luke and Mara are just about to
go off to the ridge, to the Wild Karrde, where Talon and Shada are.
I've been told the jump at the very end, where Mara and Luke are
leaving Tatooine, is to get the story moving. So assume nothing of
interest happened at the ridge, and they are now going home to
Coruscant. If that doesn't make sense, I'm sorry. You can ask me for
clarification later. This is the last piece I personally have. Alan,
if you are done with your piece, please post it tommorow. Then
Cheryl, you may post whenever you're ready. Enjoy!

Part 5
* Later Onboard the Wild Kardde-

"Message for you, chief." Aves voice came over the comm, "Pretty
heavy encrypt, marked confidential, from the chief of state herself."

Kardde frowned. As far as he knew the New Republic wasn't in any
sort
of unusual trouble. "I'll take it in my office." he replied,
wondering
what this could be about.

He pushed the button and instantly the smiling face of Leia Organa
Solo
greeted him. "Long time no see, Talon," she quipped with a grin,
"almost a year in fact since Luke and Mara's wedding. That's
actually what I needed to tell you about. Mara wanted me to organise
a party for their anniversary as a surprise for Luke. Of course, you
are on the guest list. The event will be in two standard weeks on
Coruscant, here in the Imperial Palace. Please let me know the
details of when you will be arriving and how many will accompany you-
the whole crew is invited of course. I'll see you on Coruscant
then! And may the Force be with you."

He turned just as the door swished open to see "Shada. I was just
about
To go find you. How do you feel about a trip to Coruscant?"

She hesitated, he had that gleam in his eyes that meant something was
afoot. "Sounds okay by me. The Idiot's Array can take our cargo on
Lourdes to Corellia and that frees us up to do pretty much whatever
we want. What's the occasion?"

"It's Mara and Luke's first anniversary. Leia's throwing them a
party
on Coruscant. Would you be so kind as to allow me to escort you?"

Shada favored him with one of her few genuine smiles. They had been
Seeing each other for months now but he still insisted on courting
her
formally; it was endearing in a way.

"Hmm," she said as she walked over to sit on
his lap, "do bookwork for the organization for hours or go to a party
with a rakishly handsome and sexy 'business acqaintance' of mine?
Tough
choice."

"Can I help you to decide?" Talon asked, pulling her face down to
reach his for a kiss.

"I think my mind's made up!" Shada replied when they broke for air.
"Now, what would be an appropriate gift?"

"Gift?" Talon said incredulously. "I know what to give prospective
clients, other smugglers, and dignitaries, but Mara and Luke?"

"China and cutlery don't really work for them, huh?"

"Ration bars and a good vibroblade is more like it, with those two.
What they really need is a break from playing hero of the galaxy."

"That's it!" Shada exclaimed, "A vacation on some nice world with a
beach where they can just relax."

Kardde raised an eyebrow, "You really think so?"

she nodded.

He smiled "Well I've got some ideas and some people I can talk
to...but I'll do that tomorrow. Now what did you come in here for?"

She gave him a sly smile, "why don't I show you?"

*************************

Luke hoisted the last crate onboard the Sabre and
closed the hold as his students joined Mara aboard the
ship. A few minutes later he was with them, buckling
in to the copilots seat.

"Ready?" Mara asked him

"Sure, let 'er rip."

And with that the stars flared into brilliant lines and they were
Surrounded in a tunnel of light.
