Commander Holly Blake walked quickly through the
halls of Imperial Palace. She had to tell him. He
needed to know either way. She stopped in front of his
Throne Room. The door opened and she walked into the
room.

"Hello Commander Blake. What is wrong?" Palpatine
asked her, sensing something different about this
fiery, redhead woman.

"Master, You need to know that I am pregnant with your
daughter." Holly told him, kneeling before him on the
floor.

"I see." The Emperor responded.

"What do you wish for me to do?" she asked

"Take care of it, Holly."

"Yes, Of course, I will care of her." Holly said as
she quickly left the room.

Emperor Michael Palpatine Jade didn't know what to
do. One thing he did know, was that, he had to make
sure that nobody found out about this. Nobody. But
then again, who would question Emperor Palpatine
anyway? Nobody would. So, Palpatine had nothing to
worry about.

Nine months later, Holly Blake was sleeping. When
suddenly, she woke up. She was in labor. She ran out
of her bed and threw on a robe. She ran down to the
medical wing of the Palace.

The doctor who was on duty, told her to lie on the
bed.
"Where is the father?" one of the blonde nurses asked
curiously.

"Dead. The father is dead." She replied quickly as a
contraction hit her.

The impact of the contractions kept up for several
hours. Then, fifteen hours later, Mara Jade was born.

Mara was taken by one of the nurses to get cleaned up
while Holly brought her breathing back to a normal
level. A little while later, Mara was returned safely
to her mother's arms. Holly clinged to Mara, because
Holly didn't now how long she would be able to hold
her.

Mara was growing so fast. She was only four months
old and she already had a good amount of hair on her
head. She had green eyes identical to Holly's. Mara's
hair matched Holly's as well. Holly had managed to
keep Mara unnoticed in the Palace while raising Mara
in Holly's cabin in the military hallway. Which was
always a cute trick. To be able to keep a newborn baby
unnoticed in the military hallway.

Holly had always made the best of even the worst
situation. So, she would do just that with this
situation. She would do whatever it would take to
raise her daughter. Holly would die for Mara, if that
is what Mara's safety would take. She would do it.

Holly looked back at the sleeping infant. Holly
smiled. She truly felt like she had been given a gift
even though how she got this gift wasn't her choice.
She didn't regret it at all. She loved Mara despite
how Mara came into this galaxy. Mara didn't ever have
to hear about how she came into the galaxy. Holly
would figure something out when the day came, when
Mara wanted to know about her father. For now though,
Holly was going to enjoy raising her amazing daughter.

It was a few hours after Mara's 3rd birthday; Holly
was cleaning up the kitchen and trying to get rid of
the cooking smell that decided to stick around for a
while longer. Mara was in the living room playing with
some of her new toys that she had gotten.

Holly was about to go into the living room to play
with Mara. All of a sudden, there was a knock on her
door. Holly went over and opened it.

There was a squadron of stormtroopers and Palpatine
was standing behind them. Holly didn't even get a
chance to ask them what was wrong. In the next
instant, she was shot dead and her body dragged away.

Palpatine smiled. 'Now I can get my daughter back.
Nobody will have to know what she's my daughter. I
will train her to live her life to serve me. The truth
about her will remain hidden forever
