Secrets Revealed

Disclaimer: Star Wars beongs to George Lucas and I'm not making a
single penny off this. Setting: twenty-five years after Programmed
concludes. As always I love getting reviews and this is the sequel to
Programmed.

Obi-wan Jade jumped as he heard the sound of footsteps behind
him. He turned and saw his mother, Mara Jade. He had never known who
his father was. His mother had told him he had been named after a
close friend of the only man that had stood up against the Emperor.
"Relax Obi-wan."

"Hi mom. Sorry, I've haven't been sleeping well."

"You want to tell me what's wrong?"

"I keep having this dream about Darth Vader and he's slicing the
back of a man about my age." Mara smiled. At twenty-five he now worked
with her as a smuggler. He made her look bad at the helm of a ship
though but his love was flying starfighters. He had fixed up an old
X-wing he had found and used it.

"What does this man look like?"

"He has a small pony tail in back but the rest of his hair is cut
short except for a braid from behind his right ear, that's waist
length. He's extremely tall and has blond hair and blue eyes. He looks
like the type of guy who had girls falling all over him and he's not
interested."

"I don't think I know who it could be."

"Who was my father?"

"Your father is dead and that's all that matters!"

Obi-wan glanced at the ground again. His mother was so against
ever speaking of his father. He didn't know who he even was.
Although the rumors went everywhere from the Emperor to a Hutt.
However unlikely they may be.

"Obi-wan, I don't want to talk about this."

"Well, I do. I've spent so many years with you lying and refusing
to tell me and I'm sick of it."

"I can't, it hurts too much." "You were deprived of your history
for years but you were told it now will you deprive me of the same?"

"Have you heard of Luke Skywalker?"

"Yeah he was the pilot that took down the Death Star. He was
scorned by Rebels and Imperials alike because he was carrying on with
some one. It became chaotic when he was murdered the cause being
mysterious. He eventually was forgotten."

"He was your father. I was fifteen when we first met. He was an
Imperial Agent called Kelvin Delsen and he worked for Vader."

"He was an Imp? Did the same job as you?"

"He was sent to kill the rebel leaders, I was sent to kill him.
He caught me and broke my arm. I hadn't even realized he had grabbed
me until after it was over. He was fast and powerful that much was for
certain." Obi-wan nodded and turned away from his mother. He wasn't
about to tell her about the other thing that was bothering him. About
the assassins that were gunning for him.

A young woman leveled her sniper rifle at the young red haired
man. He seemed naïve for his resistance to tell anyone. He had made it
past he once but not again. As she began to pull the trigger back she
was knocked over by a shadow from above. It was a tall figure dressed
all in black with a mask on that covered his face. She swung at him
with a small knife in hand and he landed a blow on her arm, palm open.
He closed his hand on her arm and twisted her arm back behind her
until she dropped the knife.

The man whipped out the comlink and called security.

Mara and Obi-wan turned around as they both heard it. Obi-wan's
eyes scanned upwards and locked at the roof of a small shop. They
climbed up and saw a woman bent over and the figure and black standing
over her. Security soon arrived at the scene.

"Who are you?" Mara asked. He removed the mask and Mara stood
staring in shock. "You're supposed to be dead."

"I'll explain as soon as they're gone."

Mara sat silently in the captain's chair and the man sat
opposite her. She didn't know how she knew it was Kelv because she had
only seen him when he was disguised as Luke Skywalker but some how she
knew.

"Where have you been?"

"Home, trying to find some answers."

"Did you find them?"

"Yes," he focused on the Force and let his disguise slip.

"It was you this entire time. How could you do this to me?" Mara
questioned the man she knew as Luke Naberrie, a young Jedi Master.

"Have you ever heard of Milangoen?"

"Yes, it's a highly illegal substance that disquises the user as
some one else."

"It also erases and replaces memories. I didn't remember you. I
didn't even remember who I really was."

"Why are you here?"

"I need your help to finish the assignment I was supposed to
do."

"And what is that?"

"To kill Vader."

A new part

"Kill Vader? But you served him."

"Not anymore, I'm done serving him."

As Mara stared at the man she marveled at how gorgeous he looked
with bright blue eyes, blond hair and tanned skin. Every one of his
movements was graceful.

Mara leaned towards him while her mind told her not to. This
wasn't right; this was the man that had raised her. She pushed her
doubts away and kissed him softly, which grew deeper.
As she pulled away she gave a small smile, "I'll help you."

"Thank you," he stood up and pulled her to her feet. "We better
get moving before they send security out looking for us."
"I'd like you to meet Obi-wan."

"Who?"

"Obi-wan, our son."

The shock on his face was evident. He had a son and he had never
even known it.

Mara felt the shock, the anger, the betrayal that Luke felt. "I
thought you were dead. If I had known I would've told you if I had
known. I would have searched you down. I didn't know until after
Princess Leia told me you were dead."

She bit her lip and Luke held her close, lying on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry Mara, I'm sorry. If I had known how much it would have hurt
you I wouldn't have done it."

"What were you searching for?"

"My past that I had lost."

"Come on, let's go."

Luke stopped as Mara approached a tall red headed young man. He
was shorter than Luke but not by much.

"Mom, what is this about?"

"This is your father, Luke Naberrie, the name Kelvin Delsen was
an alias."

"You were the man in my dreams."

"And what was happening to me in your dreams?"

"Your back was being sliced by a lightsaber."

Luke shook his head. The boy had had nightmares of his
discipline in the hands of Vader.

"Why are you here? Why did you come back? Did you return to
marry my mother? Maybe have more children."

"He's an idealist."

"I used to be one too. Before the Empire and Vader got under my
skin."

"Mom already told me you were an assassin too. I want to thank
you for saving my life."

"No problem."

Mara watched as they stood about a meter apart from each other.
Silence ruled them as a barrier. The barrier between father and son
that never knew each other. The barrier she herself had put up
unwittingly. She had done to her son as was done to her but she had
found her lineage at only thirteen while he had only just learned of
his and she had been the one that had done it.

Obi-wan stared at him then turned around and left.
"What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing."

"We stay here between runs. The rebels give us a haven here."
"As I said. I need help to be rid of Vader. I figured the rebels
would be first to volunteer it. Though I never imagined to meet up
with you here."

"Did you want to avoid me?"

"No, Mara, never, I love you more than life itself. I will
always be here for you."

"Thank you Luke." She kissed his cheek them up and left.

He had not wanted a family not after what Vader had done to him,
no what Anakin had done to him. Anakin, the closest person to family
Luke had had. Now he was going to kill him. He wanted him dead because
of what he had forced Luke to do. He wanted revenge. He remembered the
last time he had wanted revenge. Master Windu had not let him have any
peace until he paid for that thought ten times over.

"Luke," Mara said, "this is Mon Mothma, General Madine, and Leia
Organa Solo. They're the leaders of the rebellion."

"Yes, of course. In order to attack the Emperor and Vader we
need them to not pay attention. Can you cover an attack against the
Empire?"

"Yes, I think so. We haven't had a massive attack since we
destroyed the Death Star at Yavin, or more correctly since you
destroyed it, over twenty-five years ago."

"Can it commence in two weeks?"

"That's cutting it short but I think we can do it."

"Please keep this among the five of us. If any of this gets out
or about who I am it could mean disaster."

"No problem." They nodded and left then Luke turned around and
began heading towards his quarters.

"Luke, what is this about? What's your plan?"

"Mara, I can't tell you that. I can't tell anyone."

"Why not?"

"Because it could mean my life."

"Why do I get the feeling that you've been avoiding me?"

"I don't know why."

"Then quit trying, why don't we start where we left off before
you went on your little soul search." Mara shoved him against the wall
and pressed against him.

"Not here." She laughed then led him into her quarters, which
were closer than his and locked the door worried that Obi-wan may walk
in on them. He was an adult but that was the last thing they wanted.
He was very opposed to sex before marriage because of the time he had
experienced as the child of a single mother. He almost seemed to be
hostile towards it.

Mara began kissing him while forcing him onto the bed. It felt
just like old times again. 'Soul search' the words echoed in Luke's
brain. Did he even have a soul? Was he anymore than a sentient droid?
That question along rattled him to his core. He knew better than to
consider himself human any longer. It just wasn't right.

Luke felt the pain as Vader stood over him and brutally sliced
at his back. He had spent the entire duration of the trip to Coruscant
on the hard cold metal floor. He had been stripped of all his clothes.
The muscles spasms were getting worse and each one involuntary. He
didn't understand why his existence was prolonged such as. He felt as
if he was dying ten times over. He shivered repeatedly from the cold
and screamed in pain as the lightsaber stroked his back like
clockwork. He could smell the searing flesh and knew he would not be
allowed to die. The pain soon became automated until at last it
released him so he could restore his health. He could hear the heavy
breathing of Darth Vader, his tormentor. He tapped the Force to heal
but as soon as he touched the light side the pain began again, as
immense as before. Only when did he use his anger and embrace the
darkside did it retreat. The darkside instilled fear in him. H had
almost been swallowed whole by the darkside once before, never again,
never again would he allow it to happen.

Luke woke up startled and saw Mara sleeping beside him. Two
weeks. He had two weeks to straighten it all out.

Thank you everyone for all the reviews you have been giving me. I
could not have done it with out encouragement.

Mara glanced over at Leia. The mission was off and they were to attack
a small Imperial base. There were only fifteen of them but everyone
seemed confident.

Obi-wan took his comlink out and clicked it on, "Jade here."
"Retreat, retreat. It was a trick. Madine and Mothma are dead. I
said retreat."

"Obi-wan?"

"Let's pull out he used us. He murdered Madine and Mothma when
we had our backs turned.

Luke Naberrie put his hands up as he was searched for weapons by
Imperial officers. They felt along his arms and legs then cleared him.
They certainly didn't trust him.

He was finally allowed into Darth Vader's personal chambers. He
took one step in a bowed to his former master.
"I see you've finally returned home Luke."

"Yes Anakin I've returned." Luke moved upwards and saw the spot
where he was aiming for. The spot where the armor was non-existent. As
he stepped before his old friend he fingered the knife in his hand and
jammed it into the throat as hard as he could.

He smiled as the blood dripped out. He was dead and Luke shoved
him over and left. He walked past the guards again and took his ship
out. When he reached a spot far enough away from the ship where the
Emperor and the body of the dark Lord were he pressed a button on the
remote in his hands and watched as it exploded.
Luke left it behind never to be seen again.

Luke began thrashing but hands held him down. He could feel the
burns from the explosion. "Relax Luke, calm down," he heard Mara say.
Mara! His wife! Was he back?

"What happened?"

"You went to investigate an explosion site and there was an
explosive still active."

"Take the bandages off my eyes. I want to see you, love."

"Luke, the explosion," she faltered, "you're eyes are
permanently damaged. What I'm trying to say is, is you're blind."

Luke's mind was spinning. He had experienced things as Luke
Naberrie. Was it all a dream? Who was he really? Was it all false?

He would find his answers; some day he would find them. But for
now he had his wife at his side and if it was only a dream he had
nothing to worry about.

THE END (for now)
