| The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a small Australian Shepherd, a breed developed in the American west primarily as a ranch dog. The purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd originated from and developed out of Australian Shepherd bloddlines that have continously and consistantly produced small dogs. Enthusiasts who preferred the smaller sized dogs have been breeding this variety since the early sixties. Since the eighties the Miniature Australian Shepherd can be registered in the National Stock Dog Register. Founded approxemately 10 years ago where two single breed specialty registries. |
