"Satisfaction is guaranteed" is a phrase that is used in sales. The underlying message is "You will not be disappointed" and if you are, we'll make it right. If only life was that easy. Satisfaction is not guaranteed, perhaps that should be taught. We need to know that there will be good times and hard times and the proverbial bumps in the road.

    It is somewhat like driving a car. We have to learn how to steer to keep from hitting the pot holes, or going off the road. We also have to learn that when we do hit a hole, there must be an effort to get out of it without injury. This is not always easy to do. Developing strength and patience and learning from experience are the needed tools.
