"When we trust, we feel vulnerable. We either embrace with open arms or we timidly reach an agreement with self. Many times the trust is betrayed and we become more cautious. As the number of times increases and our gift of trust is denied, we build up a protective armor. It is difficult to remove that armor.

     Learn to trust with that which you can give freely. If the trust is not respected or honored, we should not deny ourselves the opportunity to give it again. Experiencing who we can trust can cause us to be more discerning in our choices and yet not wearing the heavy armor of distrust."
