To find peace is not easy in the drama of the world play. To find peace
within is even harder. It takes time and patience as well as searching.
Expecting to sit for a few moments or willing it into action will not work.
This is not to say that a quiet moment with nature or a favorite picture
or person cannot bring a moment of peace. We are talking about the kind
of peace that is there as a permanent station, a place to visit, to find
solace. Turmoil is all around in one form or another. Separating one's self
from the world must be a conscious choice, for within is like another continent,
a place to visit. As you get caught up in the many things to be done and
the worry of paycheck or illness in the family, look within. Find the best
path to get to that inner space. Do not give up if it doesn't come easily.
The trip will be well worth the effort.
