We are happy to announce an upcoming event sponsored by the Royal Asamblea Española de Capitanes de Yates and the Liga Naval Española. Tentatively scheduled for April 10th, RAECY will kick off their series of conferences in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the War of Independence (also referred to the Peninsular War). Watch this space for further details, which will be published as soon as they become available. Also from the LNE, come celebrate the anniversary of La Virgen Del Carmen, Patroness of Sailors and a very important figure in Spanish marine life. A Gala Dinner is sponsored every year in July.
