About the Author. Mr. Jeff Mitchell's experience in judging dates back to 1975, when as a 22 year old, he began field trials for the Metropolitan Chapter of the All-American Judging Association. Much of the information contained here is largely based upon his recollection of events and expertise as a brass judge.
