Problems with the site If you experience any problems with the site, like broken links, pages not loading or missing pictures, then please e-mail me immediately, and I will fix the problem. Forums The forums where added on 17.07.2002, and they are new and totally cleaned out of bugs (like the website aswell) and so there shouldn't be any problems with registering or posting a message, but if there is then please contact Admin (Marc). Downloads not working If you are trying to download something from the Free Downloads section, then please click on the DOWNLOAD icon only once and be patient, if it does not appear or nothing happens then try it again. If it doesn't work, then you can contact me and the problem will be fixed. Ringtones All the ringtones have been checked to see if they work or not. They are only for Nokia composers, so don't try and put them in anything else. If they don't sound correct or they have something wrong with them, then please contact myself and I will get it sorted. Polls All 3 of the polls on the website are here to make me aware of the site, and what goes on. The poll on the Home Page has been tampered with, as you may have read. Apart from that, they are hunky dory. So if anything doesn't won't to work, then once again please contact me so I can sort it. How to Install a Theme Installing themes is fairly easy, make sure you install it somewhere you can remember, like in My Documents. Then all you need to do is download the file, then go into your Control Panel and then Themes or right click on the desktop of your computer, then Properties, then the Themes tab. Then just look for it in the drop down menu. If it does not appear in that menu, then go and look in the file where you directed it. It may be a .zip file, so you would then need to go to My Computer > (C:) > Unzipped if you have got WinZip installed on your PC (which I expect you have) then look for it there. Once you have located it, go back to your Themes, and add it into there. How to upload a Wallpaper Wallpapers are very easy to upload onto your computer. If you just want to load it, and not save it on your computer, then Right Click on the image and Save it as Wallpaper. But if you would like to save the image for another day, then Right Click on the image and Save it on your computer. Then if you have a Picture Browser like ACDSee (available in the Downloads section) then you can Right Click on the image and make it your wallpaper. How to Install a Winamp Skin Winamp: To install a Winamp skin, all you need to do is save it in the Winamp Skins folder which is located in My Computer > (C:) > Program Files > Winamp > Skins, you need to do this when the Download Window appears. Then when the file has download, Open it and it should load onto Winamp automatically, if not then right click on your Winamp, then go down to Skins and click on it there. How to Install a MSN Messenger Skin All you need to do is make sure it is a .gif image, and go to My Computer > (C:) > Program Files > Messenger, then save it in there, and delete the other image file named: lvback, and rename the new file lvback (that is an L at the beginning, not an i). Then if youhave MSN Messenger running, Exit it, and then re-open it and bob's your uncle. How to install a Windows Media Player Skin These skins install themselves automatically, as they are part of Windows which is what your computer runs on, unless you have Linux*, so you don't need to do anything, just click on Download and Save. |
