The Mixer Back ________________________________________________________________________________ Here a tutorial for a simple 3 channel mixer. This persific model is the Gemini PS-626i, which is an updated model of the PS-626 II Pro. This mixer is a good started mixer, as I started on the PS-626 II. |
1. BPM Counter This shows you the BPM (beats per minute) on a counter, incase you cant pick it up with your ears. And it shows the power, by going from green > yellow > orange > red. You want to stay out of the red so you don't blow the mixer, amp or speakers. But it depends on how good your stuff is. 2. Power Switch 3. Booth Control This is for when you are in a DJ booth, and you want to hear what you would normally hear through the headphones. 4. Balance - Changes output from left to right speaker, or vice versur. 5. Master This is the master volume, and allows you to lower or higher the volume on everything. 6. Cue Level This is the headphones volume. 7. Cue Channel Here are 3 buttons for each channel, and you press 1 or a combination to hear that channel though the headphones. 8. Cue Slider This is so you can hear what the crowd hear, or via the headphones. 9. Headphones socket 10. Channel 3 fader - Volume Only! 11. Cross Fader Go between channels (1 and 2, 1 and 3 or 2 and 3). You should have it so 2 and 3 are the decks, and use channel 1 for the microphone or CD player or MD player. 12. Channel 2 fader - Volume only. 13. Channel 1 fader - Volume only. 14. Talkover Allows you to talk with a microphone, and dim the volume so people can hear you. 15. Channel Input Switches Switch between Phono and Line Out with this switch if you have 2 things plugged in 1 channel. 16. Volume controls This changes balance, master channel, mid, high and bass for each channel. 17. Microphone socket |
