Technics SL-1210 MkII [09.12.2001] Back ________________________________________________________________________________ I don't think the 1210's are all they are hyped up to be, (personally!) they don't have anything special that makes them different from any other turntable. They have: >> 33~1/3rpm and 45rpm - which is prety much standard on a turntable >> 8- to 8+ pitch adjustment >> Unwaved quartz direct drive accuracy: wow & flutter 0.01% WRMS, rumble -78dB (DIN B) >> Very high torque (1.5kg [cm]) for a quicker start-up >> Highly sensitive low-mass tonearm with gimbal suspension/ Helicoid tonearm height adjustment Here the standard dimensions of a Technics 1200 series turntable: Weight Height Depth Width |
The Technics SL-1210 is a very popular turntable, after the seccess of the SL-1200 (silver USA version), it has grown to be in nearly every nightclub and teenagers bedroom! As it is a tough, durable turntable, which can last up to 20 years! The SL-1200 is available in America, and was designed for the US, but it is available in the UK. |
