The prank war

When my youth group went on a retreat, all of the girls decided we would pull a prank on the boys. We planned to stay in our downstairs dormitories until the boys fell asleep, then sneak up and draw with marker on their faces. The other five girls and I slowly tiptoed up the stairway. The room was pitch black and totally quiet. Every creak of our footsteps echoed. While we drew on their faces, we heard a half-awake boy whisper “goofus!” We scrambled downstairs before he could wake up, and we went to sleep. The next morning we listened for their reaction,s and we heard someone exclaim, “Who put makeup on my face?” This sent us into fits of laughter.

One of the girls brought along some water balloons so we could continue our pranking. She filled them all up and put them in a stash in the shower. During the afternoon, the boys were out by the lake fishing. They already had caught a few fish that now swam around in a bucket. We casually walked over to chat with them; then we threw the water balloons at their backs.

That night the girls all worried that the boys would try to prank us back. We heard them discussing plans upstairs, and we stayed up late to catch them in the act. It was about three o-clock and nothing had happened, so we locked the door to our room and went to bed. When we woke up another girl went into the bathroom and screamed. There was a live fish in our toilet! We demanded that the boys come down and take it out and they reluctantly agreed. They told us that during the night they had tried to get into our room but they couldn’t since the door was locked.

We still had the rest of the morning to get revenge before our parents picked us up. Outside the weather was pleasant, but a bit chilly. We filled up water bottles and put perfume in them so the water would smell girly. We splashed an unsuspecting guy talking on his cell phone. When more of the boys came outside, we splashed them with water too and ran back inside to fill up our water bottles. By this time it had started raining lightly, but we didn’t mind. When we came back out again, the guy who had been talking on his cell phone held a bucket in his hand. He had found it in an old storage garage. We positioned ourselves around the house and continued to soak anyone who came near. Then we saw that the boy with the bucket was filling it up in the lake! He came after us with the dirty lake water and got every one of us wet. Even though all our clothes were soaked and cold, we had so much fun with the water fight. Our youth group leader came out and told us we had to stop. In the end everyone got wet because it had started to rain harder.
