Hello. My name is Marcie Cleveland. The Kid's call me Miss Marcie. I am a childcare provider. I am registered with Bright From The Start with the state of GA and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I have been in the childcare business since 2000. Out of all my previous jobs in the medical field (medical insurance specialist, business office receptionist, and respiratory therapy), I find this job/career the MOST rewarding. I choose child care because, of course, my love for children. It always seems to amaze me how quickly little ones learn new things and how much they grow in a short period of time!
To me being a childcare provider does not only mean to "watch the children while mom/dad are at work"........it means so much more. It means to provide a place where children feel safe, loved, happy, are nurtured, are given opportunities to learn in a semi-structured environment, become sociable with their peers, and a place to play and have fun!
Our daycare room is separate from the rest of our home. It gives the kid's a place for themselves.
