| CALICO The calico is a mostly white cat with splashes of black and orange. There are diluted calicos with splashes of blue and cream on the white. If the cat is mostly torti and just a little white, it is NOT calico, it is torti and white. |
| Pointed The pointed cats are a solid cream or white with a different color on their ears, feet, tail, and face. The color on these points are usually Blue, Chocolate, Seal, Lynx (tabby), or torti. There are a lot of newer colors for different breeds of cats such as the siamese, but I am not going into all of those here. If you want to get that specific, go to the Cat Fancier's Association or some other pure breed show cat site. |
