   Ski and Snowboarding

I ski since 1993 and turned into a snowboarder in 1999. I'm not to adventurous, but can manage to survive about any slope. I consider myself an eternal advanced begginer.

The season in the Tahoe area goes from November to April. I like the challenging runs at Squaw Valley and Northstar and the long runs at Heavenly, but end up going more frequently to the Donner Pass area (Boreal, Sugar Bowl) and Kirkwood (close and convenient, good snow).

I still own a pair of K2 skis, but have been sticking to snowboarding lately. In part that is because I fell my aging knees are safer, but also because I like to think of myself as part of the cool people in snowboards rather than the old people with skis.

In an average season I go up to Tahoe between 5 and 10 times. Most times in one-day trips, but also stay at a cabin for the weekend with a group of friends a couple of times a year.
