Soccer, etc & tal

Besides the radical or unusual sports, I play regular sports too.

Soccer
As a Brazilian, I have to like soccer. I play soccer with my Brazilian co-workers (and other people we met through soccer) at Lake Elizabeth Park in Fremont twice a week during the summer and once a week during winter.

I also try to watch the games when the Brazilian national team plays in Stanford (the photo was at the quarter-finals of the Women's World Cup on Independence Day/99, when US beat Brazil to win the finals against China).

Racketball
I used to live at a condo in Fremont with a nice racketball court. During winter (when it is difficult to play soccer in the evenings), I still go there to play once or twice a week.

Biking
I'm not really a biker. But I have an old rusting mountain bike.
