So how does a newcomer like Marc Menard (Boyd) go about forging on-set friendships? Menard's strategy is to broker meet-and-greets from his dressing room. "Everybody has their own dressing room here," he explains. "The last series I did, we had this huge green room where everybody hung out, this big lounge where people would socialize between scenes. At [AMC], it's a little more secluded. So, I always keep my door open, and when people walk by, I go, 'Hey, how are ya!' That's how I'm trying to get to know people."
