Wish Upon a Falling Scar
{the final moments before self-destruction}
See the beautiful whore
In her garden of ivy and shame,
Diamonds glitter in the rain
And the throbbing heartbeat
Devours me with stardust.
( S u b t l e   h y p n o s i s )
She claws at the walls
Trying to break free
Of her reality---
Into this
o c e a n
Of cerulean feathers and silver petals
Deeper and  d e e p e r

Colder, brighter,

Holier, whiter

Burns the fire

Of my intoxication.

K i n e t i c ,  this trance, . . .
This flux of illusion
That melts and
f a d e s
Screams as soulless wraiths
In the forgotten graveyard
Under the moonlight.
Stone cracks and dogma scorches
As thunder paints the sky with
razorblades and
fireflies.
Wolves hunt for my black blood
To sanctify me with tears and pain.
Like cancer the
pale halo spreads
wreathing the horizon ;
Your honey infects me
But in the heart of dialation, a syringe numbs
my glass wounds
Of love.
Broken irises reflect shimmering corona,
And all I see is you, my Adonis,
             My salvation and my damnation.
A full moon is nigh.
From the jagged cliffs
so bleak and high
The virgin cries unto the sea.
On this distant shore,
Will she ever see me?
Her voice is drowned by Zephyrus
And she carries a desert in her mouth,
borne of sorrow and decay.
On broken wings she flies, she falls
Onto the rocks and churning tide below,
My fallen siren thither,
You take my breath away,

Take my breath away . . .

Take my breath, . . .

. . . Away . . .
