Delirium is in bloom---

The subtle burns of chemical distractions,

Open sores and hidden pain,

Syrupy tears and melted hopes

Are puddles of icy water on the floor.

Haunting undulations reach out over the dull screams

Of something lost, something unseen.

The rhythmic thrumming and heart-felt pulsing

Of thunder, ocean and sky

All fluctuating in the shadows beneath my eyes,

Driving the hammers of ethereal dreams...

Explosions of surreal echoes emanate

From the fading light of candles, illuminate

the drops of water bleeding on the glass,

A silver and gold tempest of aurorae

Piercing my skin with exquisite devastation.

Everything is spinning, everything is an obscurity

Of bruises and twilight; A blur of serenity,

Here in my world of complication.
