| I ran accross a cool little saw attachment for a power drill at the flea market and thought it would make the perfect chop saw head. I then begain designing the rest of the saw around the head. At this point the design is around 80% complete. I plan to cast the parts out of aluminum and machine then on my 13x25 lathe. More to come as the project progresses. 2/19/06 |

| To the bottom left are all but one of the foam cores requied to cast the parts for the compound saw. The sprues have been covered with a thin layer of plaster. 6/12/06 |
