Invisible love.
Rating:R for some B/C and some D/Annie.
Disclaimer:Still don't own them except for Annie.
Summary:Darien's still trying to conceal his invisibility.

"Bobby?"

"Yes Claire?"

"How do you think Darien's got away with it for so long?"

"Got away with what?"

"The invisibility thing and Annie and well, the sex thing."

"Not a mental image I want there sweetheart."

They were lying in Claire's bed, curled up around each other enjoying a peaceful Sunday afternoon. Bobby smiled to himself, she was always the scientist even after delivering him a mind bending blow job. He shifted slightly, rolled over to face her, holding his head on his hand.

"Maybe he's been practicing?"

Claire shook her head. Darien's tattoo was always nearly empty after a weekend with Annie. It was a miracle that he hadn't hurt her yet.

"How has she never noticed?"

"Maybe she has."

"She would have said something."

"Not to us, maybe to Darien?"

Bobby stroked Claire's cheek. They had been together for three months now,and he had never been happier. Still, he could think of better pillow talk than this. He rolled her under him and nuzzled her neck.

"Maybe I could convince the Offical that Annie is good for Darien."

Bobby started to kiss Claire's left breast, and placed soft kisses around the nipple.

"Mmmmm, that feels nice."

Bobby repeated the exercise with the right, hearing Claire moan. He moved down her body slowly trailing kisses down her stomach.

"You like this Claire?" Bobby murmured as he moved lower.

"Yes, oh yes."

Claire had completely forgotten their conversation. She closed her eyes as she felt Bobby's tongue dance around her clit.

Across town, Darien and Annie were having a wild game of snap. Annie was winning but Darien had a quick eye and an even faster hand.

"SNAP!!!"

"Hey no fair, you cheated!!"

"I did not!"

"Oh really? How come you turn the cards so slowly?"

"Annie, I never thought you'd be such a sore loser."

"Loser, smooser. You cheat!"

Annie waggled an accusing finger at him and stood up.

"I'm not playing anymore so there!"

She stuck her tongue out at him and flopped onto the couch. Darien grinned wolfishly at her, swept the cards to one side and joined her. They sat for a few minutes in silence. Annie nudged Darien. Darien nudged back. A giggle. More nudging, and prodding followed until their game erupted into a full fledged cushion fight. They were yelling and laughing so hard that they didn't hear the knock at the door. Darien was just wrestling Annie to the ground pinning her underneath him, when the door flew open to reveal the Official. Eberts peered over his shoulder.

The sight that greeted them was not good. Cards were strewn over the floor, and Darien looked like he was about to eat someone. They heard a squeal, then a throaty male laugh.

"Oh you are soo going to beg."

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"

Darien's head whirled round so fast he almost got whiplash. The Official looked furious, Eberts looked amused. Annie peered out from under Darien and squinted at the two men. She pushed at Darien's chest and scrambled out from underneath him. Darien looked wild. His hair was standing up on end and his face was flushed. Annie looked even worse. Her hair was half falling out of it's ponytail, her blue eyes wide with shock and her top riding up under her breasts. They looked like two people just been caught by their parents.

"Agent Fawkes, who is this woman?"

"This woman is Annie Rowan. Who the hell are you?"

Annie put her hands on her hips and glared. Eberts took a step back. Annie's stare was fierce, her blue eyes flashed a challenge as she moved in front of Darien.

"I am Agent Fawkes boss young lady. We have business to discuss, I suggest you leave."

"You leave. I was here first."

"Annie..."

Darien's voice made her turn round. He looked uncomfortable.

"Ummm look, maybe you should go freshen up or something."

The puppydog eyes held hers for a second, pleading with her. She let out a breath.

"Okay. For you though, not him."

Annie stomped to the bathroom and slammed the door. Darien looked back at the Official.

"Mind telling me what you're doing here?"

"We had received information about your improper use of Quicksilver."

"Okay, so where's Claire and Bobby?"

"We were unable to contact them, both the doctor and Agent Hobbes were unavailable."

Eberts voice sounded disapproving. Darien raised an eyebrow. Of course, that little relationship was still secret.

"So you decided to bust in on me. Great."

Annie made her entrance back into the room at that point. Ignoring the other two men, she sat on the couch and turned the television on.

"Oh goody, Starsky and Hutch. Look Darien, Huggy's wearing your coat!!"

Darien winced slightly as he took in the Official's expression. He looked furious. Annie however, was intent on goading the intruder.

"Hey, does HE shout like Starsky and Hutch's boss does?"

"Young woman, I don't know who you think you are but I will not be spoken to that way."

"How would you like to be spoken too?"

"With Respect."

"Sorry, I'm all out of that, except for Darien of course. Incidently, you'll never lose weight if you don't stop eating."

The Official's face turned red, then an interesting shade of purple. He looked at Darien.

"My office, first thing, no excuses."

The Official gave Annie one long last glare then left with Eberts trotting behind. Darien turned to Annie.

"That was not nice."

Annie shrugged. "They barge in here, ruin our afternoon just so he can play bossman? Uh Uh, you shouldn't have to put up with that Darien."

"It's complicated."

"How complicated?"

"Well..."

"Oh I get it! Too complicated for a non reader like me eh? Well, let me tell you something I may not be able to read all that well but I can still spot a power freak when I see one."

Annie stood up and promptly banged her knee on the coffee table.

"OWW!!"

Darien took her in his arms and gave her a hug. She flinched at first, then relaxed. They stood for a moment, before Annie moved away.

"Sorry Darien, I guess I should apologise to your boss."

"That's okay. That's why he gets paid."

Annie sniffed. She had secretly been taking reading and writing lessons and she was going to suprise Darien with her new found skills. Now it was ruined. Typical. Ahh well, she would wait for her next opening.

Monday morning arrived. Darien was waiting for the Official to arrive when Bobby sauntered through the door.

"Whoa!! What are you doing here at this hour?"

"Ummm"

Before he could speak, the Official arrived.

"Agent Fawkes, you understand that you can no longer see that woman."

"Woman?" Bobby asked.

"The Official met Annie." Darien said softly.

"Ahhh."

Bobby made it sound as if that was explanation enough.

"Feisty, isin't she sir?"

"Downright rude Agent Hobbes."

"She made comments about the Official's weight." came Eberts voice.

"SHUT UP EBERTS!!"

The Official looked at Darien. He saw that his invisible agent wouldn't give up this girl without a fight. He also thought that Miss Rowan was an excellent choice for him but, in the circumstances there was too much at stake.

"The Keeper informs me that you have started to use up Quicksilver, off the clock no less."

Darien went still. Shit. His weekends with Annie were not without their price. He didn't blame Claire for telling, it would have become clear soon enough.

"Another reason to end this relationship now."

"No way. I love her."

"Too bad, you'll get over it. Report to the keeper. That's all."

Darien glared at his boss then stormed out of the room banging the door.

"Bobby."

"Yes chief?"

"Watch him. Don't let him do something stupid."

"You got it."

Darien was in full rant when Bobby reached the keep. Claire flashed him a look that screamed. "Help me." so he did.

"Partner, partner calm down, you can still see Annie."

"How?"

"I'm in charge of you, so you know, I won't look if you know what I mean?"

Darien looked grateful.

"Okay, fancy dinner tonight? The four of us?"

"Sounds good. I'll cook."

Bobby waggled his eyebrows at Claire.

"I cook good, don't I babe."

Claire rolled her eyes and turned to Darien.

"How do you control the flow?"

Claire bit her lip and looked awkwardly at Darien.

"Usually I take out the pillow or headboard, she is usually preoccupied at the time, and it flakes off before she notices it."

"Mmm interesting. You sure she doesn't notice?"

"Sure."

Claire nodded. She went back to her notes writing quickly.

That evening, Darien picked Annie up from her apartment. She seemed quieter than usual. He cast a worried glance her way which she caught.

"Okay,Stretch. What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just wondered why so quiet this evening?"

"No reason. Hey, want to walk?"

"Sure, it's a nice evening."

They walked in the direction of Bobby's apartment slowly. Darien captured Annie's hand and she smiled at him.

"Perfect." he thought as they fell into step. Just then, there was a commotion coming from the seven eleven they had just passed. Two men ran out brandishing a gun. Darien immediately whirled Annie round out of harms way. He touched his finger to her lips and Quicksilvered in front of her eyes. Annie blinked. Then blinked again. One of the robbers was suddenly thrown to the ground, while the other was disarmed. Sirens wailed as the police arrived to take charge of two very confused thieves.

Annie was still standing where she had been left. Darien unquicksilvered in front of her again. Her eyes widened. Her mouth opened. Then she passed out. Darien cursed as he picked Annie up and went back to his car.

When she came round, all she could hear were angry voices.

"Great Fawkes. How am I gonna explain this one?"

"Tell the truth."

"Yeah, right."

"Boys. Calm down. Maybe now she knows it could help us."

Two sets of eyes turned to Claire. Darien's were hopeful, Bobby's were angry. Annie sat up and rubbed her head. Immediately,Darien was at her side.

"How are you feeling?"

"Like someone who saw you turn invisible."

"Better then."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

Bobby's voice cut in.

"Need to know."

Annie glared at the older man and Bobby shut up. Darien decided truth was best. In the course of an hour, Annie heard the whole story. When it was done, she held her hands to her face.

"I thought my secret was bad."

"Annie, please don't be mad. I'm sorry about not telling you."

"Well, I guess this explains why the headboard kept disappearing on a regular basis."

Annie's face was pure amusement as she glanced around the room. Three mouths had dropped open. Annie stood up.

"I'm starving. Let's eat. Oh, and Bobby? That had better be chocolate pie or you're in deep shit."

Bobby spluttered a reply. Claire and Darien were laughing.

Much later, as Darien and Annie were trying to get their clothes off as quickly as possible, Annie suddenly said,

"Hey, I guess this means you can do the whole disappearing thing now."

Darien groaned as she nipped his neck. Then she nipped his thigh, moving to his cock, she nipped that lightly too.

"Annie, keep that up and we'll be gone before you know it."

Her grin was all the answer he got as the sensation of a wet tongue flicked over his cock head. Well, that and her cry of suprise as they both went invisible.

"This is new."

Annie's disembodied voice sounded in the room. Then a soft moan followed as Darien showed her the delights of making invisible love.

The End.
