Lynden and I get a lot of credit for putting together this annual shindig and we really appreciate it every time someone takes the time to let us know. Of course, all the effort is worth it everytime someone tells us how great a time they had and how much they loved the food. But Where Y'at!?!! would not be possible without the tireless efforts of a lot of people. First among them is Yola who gracefully allows us to lay waste to her house and lawn. A tireless hostess, without her efforts to pulling this thing off each year would not happen. Having Shawn behind the bar is as much a part of this event as the turkeys. He keeps everything under control and everyone in their cups. But don't listen to me, tip him more next time. Chris Hall is our man of all trades that fixes every disaster before it occurs. The tarps that kept us dry, Chris put them up. The kegs that went dry, Chris got new ones. He handled the sterio system and even fixed the door to Lynden's office so there was one room the valuables could be kept. Tim Thibodeaux is the guy who cleans up the mess, before and after the party. He put in more hours than anyone making sure the place was clean enough to have the party and clean enough after that code enforcement wouldn't kick Lynden out on the street. He also makes the backbreaking work of cleaning the kitchen possible to complete in a day. Several people pitched in with the food. Chris brought the King Cake, Stan showed up with the ham and someone brought a plate of Lumpia again this year. You have my special thanks since you helped me stave off the ravenous crowd while the oil was re-heating for the next turkey. In addition, Tim, Tom, Al, Chef Bob and several others were willing to set down their beers and pitch in during the tough times during the night. It makes a lot of difference knowing there is someone you can depend on when things get nuts. And, of course, thanks to everyone that showed up and partied with us. It was a great time and we can't make this thing legendary without you guys packing the porch. Cliff and Lynden
