| Zachariah Davis and Prudence Roberts Family Forward: I have permission from Ann Spencer to use some of the information from her Book "Davis and Other Family Lines", I want to Thank her for the use. Zachariah Davis was born ca 1770 and died between 1805 and 1830 (?) AR. He married Prudence Roberts on August 19, 1790 filed with the Madison Co., KY., Court House. Prudence Roberts was born between 1770-1780 and died between 1831-39 AR., her parents were Nathan Roberts, Sr and Hannah Logsdon-Roberts. The last info I could find on Prudence Davis, she was listed in the Clark Co., AR 1830 Census, Caddo Township. Samuel Davis4 (William Zachariah Davis3, Greenberry Davis2, Zachariah Davis1) born 1852 AR., died after 1900, his parents were William Zachariah Davis born Sept 30, 1831 and died August 20, 1926 OK., married Martha Ann Edmondson born abt ca 1835 AR. Samuel Davis married Adaline Cole abt 1874, born abt 1851 AR or Mo., parents were William Cole born ca 1825 in TN., and Sally Cole born ca 1831 in AL. Samuel Davis and Adaline Cole-Davis are my G-Grandparents.... Children for Samuel Davis and Adaline Cole-Davis: Alice Davis born 1870 (Adaline's girl per Family). James Davis born 1875. Tennessee Davis born 1877. Zachariah Davis born 1878. Georgia Ann Davis born December 10 1879 Indian Territory (OK) and died March 26, 1959 McCurtain Co., OK., married George W. Rhodes on April 14, 1900 Mena, Polk Co., AR., he was born July 09, 1871 AR and died July 28 1934 McCurtain Co., OK. (My Grandparents). Florence Davis born 1882 AR and died 1910 Page, LeFlore Co., OK. She married Harmon Henry born 1867 KY and died OK. Jessie Davis born 02/1884, died after 1959,married Edna. Lee Davis born 04/1889. Burton (Bert) Davis born 01/1892, married Flossie Dudley abt 1920, parent were George and Nancy Dudley. George Dudley was born abt 1873 AR and Nancy Maddox was born about 1877 AR, married April 26, 1900 at Scott County AR.
