William Zachariah Davis (Greenberry 2, Zachariah 1) was born (death Certificate) September 30, 1831 AR and died August 20, 1926 Vinita, OK. Married Martha Ann Edmondson born ca 1835 in AR.
Samuel Davis (William Zachariah 3, Greenberry 2, Zachariah 1) born ca 1852-1854 AR. He married Adaline Cole born ca 1851 AR or MO., and died after 1910. Her parents were William Cole and Sally (?) Cole. The LeFlore Co., OK 1910 Census list Adaline (Cole) Davis as a widow.
I am still searching for the actual date and place of Samuel's death. Some say he was killed running from the law with his son Zachariah, some say his son Zachariah was shot down by the law and he was the only one killed. They say Zachariah was accused of a murder in AR and a possey was waiting for him on a trail, four on each side and shot his horse dead under him and that Zachariah killed three of the lawmen and wounded a fourth on the side of the trail he went down on, before they killed him. The only witness for Zachariah was his riding buddy, Greenberry Webster. His sister, Georgia Ann (my Grandmother) and his brother, Bert arrived on the scene about thirty minutes later in a wagon, after they had heard the shooting. If this is true, than I feel it happened before 1900 because Georgia Ann was married with a child in the 1900 Scott Co., AR census. I can't find a Zachariah Davis with his age, born in 1878 in the 1900 census. My Mother, Nora Rhodes-Jones has told a story close to the one told about Zachariah being killed alone. Her Mother, Georgia Ann told her the story.

Married George Washington Rhodes on April 14, 1900 Polk Co., AR. He was born ca July 1871-1874 AR., and died 1934 McCurtain Co., OK. His parents were William Roden (Rodes) and Minerva McClennon.
Nora Bell Rhodes (Georgia Ann 5, Samuel 4, William Zachariah 3, Greenberry 2, Zachariah 1) born June 4, 1909 LeFlore Co., OK and died July 4, 1998 Adair Co., OK. Married Pete Madison Jones on November 20, 1925 at Polk Co., AR. Pete was born April 26, 1902 in Sevier Co., AR and died September 5, 1990 at Crawford Co., AR. His parents were P M Jones and Manda M Arney-Jones.
Martha Sue Jones (Nora Rhodes 6, Georgia Ann 5, Samuel 4, William Zachariah 3, Greenberry 2, Zachariah 1) was born 1944 Adair Co., OK.
She married 1st, Billy Chas McGinnis, his parents were Howard McGinnis and LaZelda Redfield.
2nd married Robert L Real (Common Law) 10/1977. His parents are John W Real and Mary O Vincent.
