On Sunday the 10th, Lindsay, Nathan, and I ran in the Hikone Marathon!  We had to be there at 7:30 in the morning!  The race actually started at 9:30.
Before the race started they had us all lined up in our groups, and they had these people trying to get us to do aerobics-ONLY IN JAPAN!
Can u find the American in this Picture!? (above)
We had two people "running" the race in wheel chairs, it was really interesting.  We also had about 3 blind people!  They ran with a partner and both held on to one side of a cord.  It was really inspiring-they were awesome!
This is Linsday right before the race-I am the blonde head in front of her!  I was getting myself psyched up!:)
This is the three of us right as we crossed the finish line!  Do we look tired to you?!  Well, either way we were!
We all sported something form home for the race.  Nathan wore his U of M shorts, Lindsay a shirt from her home town, and Me my huge Spartan S!  Go spartans!
Above: Lindsay and I after a little time to cool down-but not much!
Left: The three of us-Nathan did a longer race-so this is right after his!  He was more than exhausted!
Below: one of our two supporters!  Allie and Neal drug themselves out of bed for the race-along with Lindsy's Host Family.  We had English speaking people there supporting us!  Neal had to make a McDonalds run-so he wasnt there for the pictures!
On a side not we noticed that Japanese people are not very wild at these things, like when people are running in that home stretch they arenot yelling and stuff-like we do back home!
